Hi
« on: June 26, 2016, 07:25:31 PM »
My name is Mandy, 6 months ago my wonderful husband died very suddenly & I have been coping ok ... Sorting stuff out, dealing with solicitors etc. Now that is all pretty much finished & I am feeling more weepy than I have ever felt - I feel lonely, this was not in the plan (!), angry & so, so sad ...

Hi Mandy,

So sorry for the loss of your husband. I think when we are kept busy at the beginning we are coping, or think we are only for it to surface when things have been taken care of. It will take a while for you to get through the emotions. This is a good place to come for support and encouragement. Everyone here has gone through a loss of a loved one so we can emphasize with you. Post when you need to - we are here for you.

It's so true about when you ate sorting out funeral and everything else out your too busy to grieve but as soon as everything like the funeral is over it hits you like a brick. You go from being angry to just crying all the time. Emotions are all over the place. The other day I was doing garden then just burst into tears. Apparently its normal and people have told me there isn't a time limit to grieving. Everyone on here is great and whenever you need help just log on.we are all in the same boat so remember that.
