New here - loss of parents
« on: March 07, 2018, 03:53:38 PM »
Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I lost both my parents nine months apart. Dad died without warning last March, then lost mum at Christmas. I'm a confused mess of grief...not sure which one I'm crying for sometimes, or both, or just the whole pile of loss. Thanks for reading...

:hug:Hi -losing one parent -no matter how old you are is bad enough losing both and so close together is a huge shock -not suprising you are feeling lost and confused.I found just writing things here helped clear that kind of brain fog over time -as in writing you have to have some kind strcuture -so in creating that your thoughts also gain that structure -it doesnt take away your grief just helps you to understand it better.
