1st birthday without mum
« on: April 09, 2017, 09:07:49 PM »
It's my birthday this week and will be the first without my mum. Just so sad that she'd not going to be here. My family always do a get together for our birthdays and there is going to be a massive void. my mum always bought the cakes for everyone and i know it sounds stupid, but it just won't be the same without her bringing the cakes and balloons.  My sister came over today and she's got mums car. I've got used to seeing her with it now, but for a moment, i looked outside and saw it and thought mums here. It literally took my breath away. I've got alot going on at the moment and it's just so hard her not being there to talk to or help with some decisions I've got to make.

Family occasions are so hard, probably more so when it's the person who makes all the arrangements who we have lost.
