Best Wishes for a less tearful 2017
« on: December 31, 2016, 09:59:51 PM »
Just like to wish all my friends on here all the very best wishes for 2017.

Hopefully 2017 will be much better than this year has proven to be for many of us,  2016 has been the worst year of my life,  it will be 9mths for me on Jan 4th since my dear Ann passed away and I shall not be too sorry to see the back of 2016,   but I can't say I'm looking forwards to 2017 either.   Nothing will ever be the same again.

As someone said.... Grieving is the price we pay for love,   the greater the love,  the greater the grieving.

Hope 2017 is a little better for ALL of us.

Best wishes.......Brian

My thoughts exactly Brian, I'd like to add my good wishes to all. We have to be prepared for and accept the set backs but hopefully we'll all have at least some relief from the pain of grieving in the coming year.

My own bitter sweet moment over Christmas was when my eldest grandson broke the news that he and his partner are promoting me to Great Grandfather later in the year. Good news and well received by the whole family except that lying in bed the next morning I started thinking how overjoyed Chris would have been. Had to have a talk to myself about constantly tormenting myself    .
I'll never get over losing her and I used to think that eventually
I would learn to live with it - that's not happened yet.
