going back to roots
« on: December 22, 2018, 11:26:59 AM »
I've decided to have a few days away after new year, i've booked a room at the premier inn in my old home town in Maidstone in kent. I'm going to have a wander round my old neighbourhood, have a look at my old house and my grandparent's house, school etc. No doubt it will bring back a host of memories for me but I feel I want to do it. I'll be seeing my bereavement counsellor a couple of days beforehand so I'll talk it over with her as well, but I'm quite excited!

Have a great trip, Kes! I spoke more about this in reply to your other post, but just in case you missed that, thought I'd post here too! I think this is a lovely idea. I am sure it will help. I hope you have a good time! All best wishes, Sandra
