Lost my dad 6 weeks ago

Hi,
I'm new here. Started using the chatroom last week and was recommended I register on this site. My dad only passed away last month so I'm still coming to terms with my grief . I find it difficult to open up to people but last week I had a preliminary session with an NHS bereavement counsellor and that was a positive experience. This week I'm going to attend a local bereavement support group

Youre in a safe place hun, you can let your feelings out on here, we all understand, it also helps to know that your not alone and that most of what youre feeling is normal in bereavement xx

Welcome to the forum newbie_F. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

I found it does help to talk or write down your thoughts to try to make sense of them. I'm sure that you will find that this site and the other support you are arranging will help you s lot with your grief.
